 | "The Church has always considered catechesis one of her primary tasks, for, before Christ ascended to His Father after His resurrection, He gave the apostles a final command - to make disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that He had commanded... At the heart of catechesis we find, in essence, a Person, the Person of Jesus of Nazareth, "the only Son from the Father...full of grace and truth," who suffered and died for us and who now, after rising, is living with us forever. It is Jesus who is "the way, and the truth, and the life," and Christian living consists in following Christ."
Pope John Paul II |

Children's Ministry:
We meet at the Sunday, 10:30am Mass, during the Liturgy of the Word. Our Session begins in October and ends in May. This is a supplemental program not a replacement for Religious Education. If you would like to help or have your child involved in this ministry please contact, Sandy Klohr @ 410 768-4880. We minister to children of various ages in a way that they can understand the Gospel message. We present a craft project with the message for them to have a hands on, visual and concrete image of the message which they can take home to reflect on and evangelize others. We always begin with the "Come Holy Spirit Prayer" and praise songs before hearing the Sunday Gospel message. This is to help open and cultivate readiness of heart to hear the Lord's word. We like to plan stewardship projects through out the year for the Liturgical Seasons and we usually end the year session with an Ice Cream Social/ Family Potluck Gathering. The Children's Ministry brings the Kingdom of God to children ages PK 4 - 5th grade and helps each child grow into a loving personal relationship with Jesus; teaches the Gospel message presented during 10:30am Mass, Liturgy of the Word.
